Rivers Kent and Bela

High River levels this evening may lead to flooding. Areas most at risk include Rivers Kent and Bela and other watercourses, from Kentmere to Silverdale including low lying areas around Staveley, Burneside, Kendal, Milnthorpe and Beetham. Rainfall is forecast to continue overnight. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
