River Thames for Shiplake, Lower Shiplake and Wargrave

River levels remain high. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected today, 29 January 2026 especially in the Shiplake area. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours which may be heavy at times. We expect river levels to remain high over the coming days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses. This message will be updated by 8:00PM on 30 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
