Groundwater flooding in Bishops Sutton

Groundwater levels in Bishops Sutton are high but relatively stable. Groundwater is very close to the level we would expect flooding to affect cellars of a small number of properties in Bishops Sutton. Mostly dry weather is forecast on Tuesday 10/03/2026, Wednesday 11/03/2026 and Saturday 14/03/2026. On Thursday 12/03/2026 and Friday 13/03/2026, further rain (between 20 and 25mm) is expected. Groundwater levels are expected to remain high for much of March. We are closely monitoring the situation.
