The River Lox has now fallen significantly following Tuesday's rain. Small amounts of rain are forecast Thursday evening, Friday evening, and Saturday. River levels will likely rise again Thursday evening. From 03:00 30/01/2026 minor flood impacts could affect fields, roads, and gardens near the top of the River Lox, including isolated riverside properties at Loxley Bridge on Wrotham Hill, Dunsfold and Petworth Road, Chiddingfold. From 08:00 30/01/2026 minor flood impacts could also affect fields, roads and gardens near Brewhurst Mill on Brewhurst Lane and the Onslow Arms, Loxwood. Only minor flood impacts are expected. River levels should finally begin to fall Sunday. However, more rain is forecast Monday afternoon, which will cause the river to rise again and further flooding could be possible next week. Consider activating any flood protection products you may have. Continue to operate private water control structures at Brewhurst. This message will be updated by 14:00 30/01/2026.
