The River Arun is high, but now falling at Pallingham Lock, following Tuesday's rain. Flood impacts will continue to affect properties at Pallingham Lock. Near Horsham and Broadbridge Heath, river levels have returned near to normal. Small amounts of rain are forecast Thursday evening, Friday evening, and Saturday. River levels might rise again Thursday evening, but only a small amount. Only minor flood impacts are expected, to affect fields, roads, and gardens. River levels should finally begin to fall Sunday. However, more rain is forecast Monday afternoon, which will cause the river to rise again and further flooding could be possible next week. Our automatic sluice at Provender Mill is operating to reduce flood risk. Install flood protection products in Wanford, if you have them. This message will be updated by 14:00 30/01/2026.
