Tidal area at Pendine

Flooding is expected as a result of the combination of the high tides and weather conditions for the evening high tide on Friday the 5th December and the morning high tide on Saturday the 6th December. The next high tide in Pendine is expected to occur at approximately 6:15 PM. Flooding to property, low lying land and roads is expected. Impacts are expected to occur 2 hours either side of high tide. Winds are forecast to be near gale force, (force 7 on the Beaufort scale) from a general south-westerly direction. Conditions are expected to improve after Saturday mornings high tide. Be careful on coastal footpaths, beaches and roads. Be careful as sea spray and waves could be dangerous and could contain debris. We will continue to monitor the situation. This message will be updated as the situation changes.
