This is a Flood Warning Update. High river levels are expected to cause flooding. Areas most at risk include areas in Dorchester, West Stafford, Bockhampton, Lewell, Tincleton, Pallington, Waddock, Moreton, Wool and East Stoke. Levels are steady but still remain high at the Stinsford river gauge following prolonged rainfall and high groundwater. Further rain is expected tonight and tomorrow. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses, and do not attempt to walk, cycle or drive through flood water. People in this area should continue to monitor local water levels and weather conditions. This message will be updated by 5:00PM on 30 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
