Middle Stour and tributaries

High river levels today may lead to flooding. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Middle Dorset Stour tributaries between Sturminster Newton and Wimborne. Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers. Further light rainfall is forecast today which will keep river levels high. We are closely monitoring the situation . Please do not drive through floodwater as bow waves may affect adjacent properties and avoid using low lying footpaths and bridges near local watercourses.
