Weymouth Rivers and Streams

This is a Flood Alert Update. River levels remain steady but high at the Broadwey river gauge. Flooding could still affect locations near the River Wey to Radipole Lake, Preston Brook and River Jordan, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected. Further rain is expected tonight and tomorrow. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses, and do not attempt to walk, cycle or drive through flood water. People in this area should continue to monitor local water levels and weather conditions. This message will be updated by 4:00PM on 30 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
