Rivers Clyst and Culm and their tributaries


Rising river levels today may lead to flooding.  Flooding is possible from the evening of 15 December 2025 .  Heavy rainfall in the area is forecast to continue throughout the day. Forecast levels may cause flooding to low lying land and roads close to the river from 6:30PM on Monday. The main areas of concern are Cullompton, Willand, Culmstock, Hemyock, Bradninch, Broadclyst and Clyst St Mary. We expect the rivers to remain high overnight into Tuesday 16 December, though no flooding to properties is currently forecast.  We are closely monitoring the situation .  Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .  This message will be updated by 12:00PM on 16 December 2025 or as the situation changes.
