Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding this morning.
Flooding is expected from the early hours of 16 December 2025 .
Heavy rainfall over the last 24 hours has caused river levels to rise.
Properties and low lying areas will start to flood from around 4:00AM on Tuesday. The main areas of concern are Chard Junction - including the Three Counties Public House, Creamery and Broad Bridge areas, Broom, Wadbrook, Axe Farm, Weycroft - including Coaxden Cottages, Weycroft Mill and properties on the A358 around Weycroft Bridge
B3165 at Mosterton and Clapton . Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels .
Activate any flood protection products you may have .
